The final against Ellerstina featuring Clara Cassino 6, Hazel Jackson-Gaona 8, Lía Salvo 9 and Sarah Wiseman 7 was held right before the decisive men’s match at the the Argentine Polo Field in Palermo. But in the last chukka, Lía Salvo realised the unthinkable and scored 3 goals in a row which took the match to supplementary. There, after two chances squandered by sisters Cande and Mila Fernandez Araujo, Nina Clarkin took advantage of a foul and saved the title for her team by scoring to 7-6 from 30 yards.
